The National Police Pagan Association (PPA) is a registered Diversity Staff Support Association (DSSA) which works alongside the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC), the College of Policing and the Home Office to represent and support Pagan Police Officers and Staff and to improve the relationship between our Pagan communities and the Police service.
The PPA is run by UK police officers, staff and volunteers who identify as Pagan, and was the first DSSA structured in accordance with new NPCC guidelines following the economic downturn and the subsequent withdrawal of government funding. Therefore the PPA has a single Executive Committee who are nominated and voted for by members.
In addition to Committee the PPA has a national network of First Point of Contact officers (FPOC) for each NPCC area with whom local police forces, partner agencies and members of the public can make contact. Our FPOC officers act as a conduit between the constabularies they represent and the Committee. All PPA roles are carried out alongside other policing duties.
